1. Material selection: Corrosion resistance is the primary principle, which directly determines the service life of the equipment.
The chemical composition of liquid fertilizers can corrode ordinary metals. Therefore, all components in contact with the fertilizer must be made of 304/316 stainless steel. The core components are preferably made of 316 stainless steel (with stronger corrosion resistance, suitable for water fertilizers containing strong acids and strong alkalis). Specific requirements are as follows:

Before startup: Before each startup, check if the seals are leaking, if the filling head is clogged, and if there are impurities in the bucket. Ensure that the pump body and flow meter are operating normally without abnormal noises;
Material filtration: Install a stainless steel filter screen (80-100 mesh) at the inlet of the bucket to filter out large particles of impurities in the fertilizer to prevent clogging of the filling head and pump body. The filter screen needs to be cleaned daily;
Avoid idling: The pump body must not idle without water or material. Otherwise, it will burn out the seals and the pump body. Before stopping, close the feed valve first and empty the fertilizer in the pipeline;
Daily cleaning: After each production session, rinse all components in contact with the fertilizer (filling head, bucket, pipeline) with clean water. If filling high-corrosive water fertilizer, use weak alkaline water for cleaning and then rinse with clean water to avoid residual fertilizer corrosion of the equipment;
